Amari Atelier is a boutique bridal store in Toul Kork, Phnom Penh. The store was imagined as a series of scenes, where the interplay of elements heightens the focus on the dresses and bride — the space serving as a backdrop where the dresses themselves take centre stage.
Spanning 150 m², the store features a foyer, a small workshop for alterations, a staging area, and displays for ready-to-wear selections. The space integrates fluid, curved walls that echo the contours of the dresses.
The staging area centres around a recessed oculus in the ceiling that frames the moment of brides trying on their dresses, adding a touch of theatre. Walls are finished in a fine pink stucco; the floor in light-grained terrazzo with brass inlays mirroring the curved geometries.
